Served on the Jenamar Executive Team and was involved in nearly all decisions of the Jubilee Active Adult (1,500 homes) and Edgewater (600 conventional home) communities as they were being developed and built, including all infrastructure, homes and community amenities.
Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company, Director of Marketing
Served on the Northwest Landing Development Team that designed all community infrastructure, residential and commercial building and amenities for this 3,200-acre master planned community.
Regional Shopping Centers – Director of Marketing
Served on the management teams of six regional shopping centers (each million sq ft+ malls) in four states, reported to the Board of Directors
Coordinated the sales and marketing efforts with hundreds of mall merchants, department stores and their home offices.
Served as the Annual Conference Chairperson three years in a row for an 800-employee shopping center company. In charge of coordinating every conference detail including the venue, theme, speakers, food, award ceremony, outings, fun night, etc.
Toastmaster International (volunteer positions)
District Governor – Led and inspired a volunteer district leadership team of 30 Toastmaster members, 250 club officers across 60 clubs. Helped write and achieve the District Success Plan placing #9 worldwide.
Lt. Governor of Education and Training – Helped lead the district (60 clubs and 2,500 members) in education and leadership goals to #4 worldwide.
Toastmasters International “Top 5 Club Membership Drive” Award Winner (3 times) – Created innovative, fun membership drives that inspired club members to participate.
Junior Achievement – Program Administrator and Board of Directors (volunteer positions)
Served on three Junior Achievement (JA) Board of Directors in Utah
Oversaw and led all three JA programs (Student Company Program, Business Basics and Applied Economics) in Ogden, Utah. Trained 50 business executives on how to guide JA club operations, planned trade fairs, award banquets and more.
Highlights
As District Governor I helped write the District Success Plan, started new clubs, implemented training for the leadership team, traveled throughout the District to all 60 clubs to speak and encourage club members, and lead and inspired a leadership team of 30 Toastmaster volunteers to number nine in the world out of approximately 9,500 clubs on all five continents.
As Lt. Governor of Education and Training I coordinated, with a team, the annual conference as well as several educational events including speech contests. In this position, helped lead the District to number four in the world.
When I served as Area Governor, I worked with the 4 clubs in my Area to coach, inspire and lead them though the performance goals to become a Select Distinguished Area.
As Club Director of Membership, designed membership drives that increased club membership and won four “Top 5 Membership Drive Awards” internationally.
As my Advanced Leader year-long project, I worked with the Northwest Landing sales team to become a high performance team, improving collaboration, camaraderie and sales.
